V3.co.uk migration project
The migration of the V3.co.uk site to the new Incisive Media development platform was a long time coming, but we eventually got there.
I was the lead project mananger and this role involved:
- liaising with designers and design consultancies to create and develop the look and feel of the new site
- reworking the design to reach the final approved site branding
- working with the brand team to gather the initial project requirements
- arranging and attending weekly meetings with the brand team to report progress, assign deadlines and discuss issues
- providing page and component mockups and functional specifications for our development team in India to work from
- developing and testing new site functionality and reporting back to the development and brand teams
- reporting back to the web management and development partner team on a weekly basis
- managing the various phases of the project
The sites went live in Q1 2011.
