A friend and colleague needed a logo created for his new business, which I was able to design for him.
We then discussed the merits of different web site options and based on time and the (relative) ease of implementation, decided the best way forward was to build a single-page website, with all the information in different sections, but all contained on one page.
I built a template using tables to indicate how the site would work, then rebuilt it with standard markup code, and added the styling and content until we got a finished product.
What we have is very simple and stylish and will hopefully give him a good start in pushing the business on the internet.
The site went live in February 2011.
