IT Week is a Incisive Media title aimed at senior IT professionals.

The site was due for a redesign and I was presented with a number of layouts for various pages of the new site.

The proposed designs followed the 'typical' Incisive Media template, but I saw some potential in the design to develop a site that was "full-wdth", i.e. that filled the full width of a browser window.

Once I had convinced the relevant people that this would work, I then had to rework the mock-ups to the new specifications.

This was a very intense and involved process as the new design would be a massive departure from what had been done before for any of the sites.

The new site went live in November 2006 and so far has been very well received internally and by the sites users.
