Summer Soustice 5 - 25th June 2011
I'd heard about it, seen the website and read about it on Facebook, so Jay and I decided to take our sons to Summer Soulstice 5 to show them why we love soul and funk music.
The weather was a bit grey when we got there, but the sun soon broke through and it turned into a beautiful afternoon and early evening.
The music was superb, the PAs from Stephanie Weeks, The Drizabone Soul Family, David Joseph and Second Image got everyone up and dancing. The atmosphere and vibe were second to none and it certainly was worth making the effort to get there
We had a brilliant great time and are looking forward to Summer Soulstice 6 next year!
