Rewind Festival, Henley-on-Thames, 19th-21st August 2011
Loads of 80s bands, in Henley-on-Thames, over an August weekend... I was soooooo there!
Most of my colleagues had already done the event in Scotland, so when the opportunity arose for me to work at the Henley version, I took it!
I ended working on the main campsite entrance for most of the time, but managed to get around and see some of sights and hear the sounds of this brilliant festival.
Some of the acts included Haircut 100, Holly Johnson, Bananarama, Average White Band, Billy Ocean, The Real Thing, Go West, Human League and of course the Village People.
The highlight of the weekend had to be our pit team doing 'YMCA' in front of the Village People. The videos of this wonderful moment can be seen here and here.
I had a great time and am looking forward to next year's events.
